Background

AYPRC Liberia Chapter 2

The African Youth Peer Review Committee (AYPRC) is a mutually agreed instrument, voluntarily signed to by young Africans as a self-monitoring organization established by African youths to contribute to the development of Africa through advocacy, constructive dialogue, monitoring, participation and leadership in development initiatives as characterized by the AYPRC’s obligation.


AYPRC is an open and inclusive organization that welcomes all African youths without discrimination to race, ethnicity, color, national origin, citizenship, creed, religion, age, abilities, sexual orientation or income. 




Objective

AYPRC Liberia Chapter 2

The overall objective of AYPRC is to involve African youths in decision making processes in Africa to fast-track their progress towards adopting and implementing the priorities of programs for Africa’s Development through achieving mutually agreed objectives and compliance with best practices with regards to each AYPRC area of governance and development.

To foster and developed youth capacity building through advocacy, constructive dialogue, monitoring, technical and vocational training, leadership development initiatives, active participation, innovative approaches to maximizing opportunities for Africans.

REFOTA - EWF Chapter 3

Rehema Foundation Tanzania

Rehema Foundation Tanzania [REFOTA] is Non Governmental Organization and

non profit making ,established since 2022 with registration number OONGO/R/4045,

Act, 2002 made under Section 12 (2) of Act No. 24 of 2002 as it amended 2003. The

organization has its headquarters in Dar es salaam region. Aiming at dealing with

community programs and community project in many aspect especially health programs

like HIV/AIDS, TB, Drug addiction and Gender based violence,

Rehema Foundation Tanzania comprises with professional workers who are ready

to build better productive and future community through eliminating youth population

from using drugs. Also to educate the community on gender based violence and

violence against children.


It has been the philosophy of REFOTA to identify and reaching key vulnerable

population, empower them, educate them on risk behaviors (alcoholism, drug abuse,

sexual activities) and having a unique understanding of the challenges facing

adolescent girls, women, Youth people and communities and how to best mobilize,

engage, and motivate to lead changes. The community outreach workers/peer educator

model is used to mobilize, organize and link key vulnerable populations to access

service providers and ensure that participation of the community is fully fledged and

vulnerable community attain self reliance. It has been successful to meet specific needs

of groups including people living with HIV/AIDS, people with Hepatitis B and C, Drug

addicts, Female Sex Workers, alcoholism and providing education on communicable

and non communicable diseases for healthier generation.

Rehema foundation Tanzania is among of organizational services provider with

non religion perspectives gender and sex discrimination.

Its core value are accountability, competence, integrity, tolerance,

volunteerism, striving for excellence, sustainability, service to human and social

justice.


AIM

The major aim of forming REFOTA is to be able to identify and reach key vulnerable

population (KVPs) and communities by educating adolescent girls, women and youth

who use drugs/ injecting drugs empower them with proper information for behavior

change and give them a chance to analyze things positively for sustainable

development.

Climate change, Drug addiction, gender violence and HIV/AIDS so as to advance

their living standard.

6. To conduct research related in social issues like gender issues, and

Climatically changes.

Our strategy for achieving our objectives is working effective with entire

community through making resource mobilization to empower all people through

effective provision of social welfare services.

7. To co-operate with non – governmental organization and Government on

ensuring people live in safe and accompanied with sustainable development in

individual and national level.
