In 1945 the Emperor granted land in Shashemene, Ethiopia into the care of the EWF, Inc. for sons and daughters of African Slaves in the Diaspora who desired to return to the Motherland – These are the instructions he left in order to claim that land grant. Register now!

We are an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) established by a  the Treaty of Amity and Economic Relations between Ethiopia and the United States of America on September 7, 1951.  We are grounded in civic service for the welfare of our global community.  Our council pushes policies and advocates to change the laws that harm all Black People. We advocate for the love of our ancestors and the equality they fought for over 500 years. We were established by Emperor Haile Selassie I and Dr. Dorothy Bayen to serve as the governing body over all Land Grants given to the global Diaspora community by African Leaders, Chiefs and Kings. Our mission is to promote love and good-will among Ethiopians at home and abroad and thereby to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of Ethiopia, to disseminate the ancient Ethiopian culture among our members, to correct abuses and relieve oppression. We exist to carve for ourselves a destiny comparable with perfect manhood. We were carefully designed to save ourselves from annihilation and prepare for ourselves a place in the Sun: in this endeavor, we determine to seek peace and pursue it, 

for it is the will of God for man.  

Dr. Dorothy Bayen was sent on a mission ordered by Emperor Haile Selassie I  to establish The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated in 1937 for the African Americans and all qualifying members of the Diaspora that went to war for him in the Ethiopian-Italian War. We are still fulfilling Emperor Haile Selassie I's  legacy. His Majesty knew that America would not uphold their promise to give 40 acres and a mule to the stolen African Slaves that were brought to America so he offered Land Grants to African Americans in Harlem, through The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated so that we would have the perfect ingredients to be able to run a complete government with a religious undertone. The land grant rest in an  African town called Shashamane (ሻሸመኔ) and was gifted as a response to American Africans support during the Italian Invasion of 1935-1941. This Land was meant to embody the unity of Ethiopians (All Black people) at home and abroad. Charters of the E.W.F. have  been established internationally and will be recognized and formally distributed underneath our headquarters. 

We are a non partisan federation funded by membership dues, donations and sponsorship funding. We are committed to advancing cultural diplomacy initiatives. Together we can make a difference and continue to rebuild our community here and abroad. We have members across the globe that abide by our Constitution and ByLaws and lift each other up no matter how far we are apart. Our community offers a global support system and our members are experienced in a wide range of life topics that have been able to solve some of the scariest times that we live in today. We have a network of chaplains, herbalists, musicians, educators, agriculture experts, designers, lawyers, doctors etc. from all over the world at our disposal.  We can validate all locals and keep our community in Shashamane safe.  

We are dedicated to learning, growing and expanding our network with solution based individuals that have a love and respect for Human Rights, Anti Slavery Agenda and Our founding fathers Dr. Malaku Bayen and Emperor Haile Selassie I King of Kings and his teachings.
